How does it work?

Right after you install, open the “Tidio Chat” tab, and you’re ready to go! A chat widget will be visible on your website, so your visitors can contact you in real time. Once you access the Tidio dashboard, you can reply to any incoming chats, configure Chatbots, and manage other settings.

Is Tidio free? How much does it cost?

Upon registering, a 7-day trial of an unlimited version of the app is assigned to your account. After the trial expires, you will be asked if you’d like to subscribe to a paid package (they start from $18 a month) or downgrade to the basic version. That way you are still able to use the chat for free, for an unlimited time 🙂

Can I customise the chat widget?

You can customise the chat widget by adjusting its colour, its position on your website (the bottom-right or bottom-left corner, or as a sidebar), all of the texts that appear in it, as well as some other options!

Can my chat answer clients automatically?

Yes, your chat can engage in simple conversations automatically; you can use the chatbots feature to create autoresponders and FAQ bots, and many others 🙂

Is it possible to automatically send a message to a new/returning customer?

Chatbots will allow you to interact with both new and returning customers on your website.

Is the history of conversations saved?

Yes, the history of all conversations is saved in your panel, and you can access it at any time. You’re able to remove the history for an entire conversation if you choose to.

Can I disable/hide the chat widget?

Yes, it’s possible to hide the chat widget on all the subpages of your website, or only of the pages of your choice, both for desktop and mobile devices.

Can I use Tidio on multiple websites?

Yes, there are two options to use Tidio on multiple websites. You can use the same chat on every website or add a new project for every website, which allows you to manage them all separately.

Is there a mobile application?

Yes, you can download our mobile app from the App Store (http://goo.gl/mqth2P) or Google Play (http://goo.gl/ayibFD).

For some reason chat plugins for WordPress don't allow filtering by what should be the most obvious criteria: categories and tags. This specific plugin is not exception but then it has even poorer filtering capabilities, compared with other equivalent plugins. Support is slow and pretty much template based, forwarding to obvious resources and "solutions". It's ironical that after 3 days trying to have chat support for a chat plugin, that was never possible.

I rarely leave reviews but I just can't stress enough how good this plugin is. - Well built - Light weight - Incredibly configurable and intuitive - Elegant and customizable - Support responds in a couple of hours - Free version lets you use most of the Live Chat part, with restrictions on the Chat Bot part that are adequate to most small businesses (100 automated conversations a month). When I'll be over these limits, I'll be glad to upgrade to the paid version. For the record, I've tested 5 plugins. I know this review sounds overly positive so let's mention I don't have any ties to the company or any of its owners/employees/partners. They're just doing a great job. Maps
